WYS is an independent fashion review publication. We publish 25 honest verdicts every week — five categories, five days, one clear answer each time.
You deserve to know what you’re buying
before you buy it.
Shopping for clothes online is harder than it should be. Brands say everything sounds great. Influencer reviews are paid for. Star ratings are gamed. We started WYS because we were frustrated by that — and we figured other people were too.
Every review we publish answers one question: should you buy this? We don’t hedge. We don’t bury the answer in five paragraphs of brand copy. We tell you what it’s like to actually wear it, who it works for, who it doesn’t, and whether the price is right for what you get.
What We Stand For
Total Independence
We are not affiliated with any brand we review. We accept no free product, no sponsored fees, and no payments in exchange for editorial coverage. Our verdicts belong to us alone.
Consistent Criteria
Every review is scored on the same framework: fit, fabric, construction, value, and versatility. A jacket from a luxury house is held to the same standard as one from a high-street brand.
A Clear Verdict
Every article ends with a score out of 10 and a clear label — Buy It, Buy with Caveats, or Skip It. We do not write reviews that avoid reaching a conclusion.
Real Context
We tell you who each product works best for. Fit varies by body type. “Great for petites” and “great for everyone” are not the same thing. We are specific.
Five Days a Week
New reviews publish every weekday. We cover five categories — Jackets, Shoes, Pants, Underwear, and Eyewear — so there is always something relevant to what you’re looking for.
No Filler
We do not pad reviews with brand history, trend observations, or generic styling advice that doesn’t help you decide. Every sentence either informs the verdict or it doesn’t belong.
How We Score
Every product receives a score out of 10, derived from five equally weighted criteria: fit and sizing accuracy, fabric and material quality, construction and finish, value for money, and everyday versatility. The score determines the verdict label with no exceptions.
Five Days, Five Budgets
The day of the week tells you the price tier. We structured it this way so you always know what kind of review to expect — and so every budget gets equal attention.
Editorial Independence
WYS earns revenue through display advertising. Advertisers have no influence over which products we review, how we score them, or what our verdict is. Advertising content, where it appears, is always clearly labelled as such and kept separate from editorial content.
We do not accept free products in exchange for reviews, paid editorial placements, or affiliate arrangements that would create a financial incentive to favour particular products or brands. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly.
